Obituary of Barbara L. Moschera

Barbara Louise Moschera (née Liedtka), age 93, a lifelong resident of North Hanover, passed away at home with her family by her side on Friday, August 28, 2020. She was born in Allentown, NJ to the late Carl and Helen Liedtka on February 7, 1927. Barbara married the love of her life, James C. Moschera, in 1959. She was past president and member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for 69 years and attended the Plumsted Presbyterian Church. Barbara enjoyed live blue-grass music performances at Albert Music Hall in Waretown, NJ and loved being with family more than anything. She took great pride in raising children and being a motherly like figure to anyone in need. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Barbara is predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Arlene Ruth (née Davis), her daughter-in-law Deborah Davis; her great-grandson Cody J. Conk; and by her six siblings, Carl Liedtka, Adam Liedtka, Dorothy South, Arthur Liedtka, Elmer Liedtka and Bill Liedtka. She leaves behind her adored husband of 61 years, James “Jim” Moschera of North Hanover; her son, John Davis of Burlington Township; her six grandchildren, Dean Conk of New Egypt, Erich Conk of North Hanover, Kevin Conk of North Hanover, Kirk Davis Of Burlington Township, Jason Conk and his wife Nancy of North Hanover and Tiffany L. Curran and her husband Cliff of Jacobstown; her nine great-grandchildren, Dean Conk Jr., Erica Layton, Logan Conk, Gabrielle Conk, Hunter Davis, Samantha Thompson-Conk, Tabitha Conk, Jesse Conk and Michael Curran; her brother-in-law Alden Moschera of Jupiter, Fl.; along with several nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 10AM to 12PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A funeral service will begin at 12PM with interment to follow at Jacobstown Cemetery. Social distancing and face coverings are required at the funeral home, with a maximum limit of 25 people at a time allowed inside.
