Obituary of Bruce A. Doyle

Bruce A. “Beat-On” Doyle, age 73, of New Egypt and formerly of Keyport, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He was born in Montclair, New Jersey to the late Lester and Elizabeth Doyle on March 19, 1947. Bruce graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1965. He then went on to study business at Bloomfield State University and at Colorado State University. Bruce worked as a truck driver for Food Haulers Inc. (ShopRite) in Elizabeth, New Jersey for 25 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 863 and did some photography for Biker.net. Bruce loved riding his motorcycle. He attended the Daytona and Sturgis rallies every year. It was something he always looked forward. He enjoyed meeting up with his friends and the camaraderie. Bruce was a loving father, grandfather, cousin and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Bruce was predeceased by his parents; and by his sister Leslie Doyle. He leaves behind his two sons, Erin “Spunky” Doyle and his wife Laura of New Egypt and Patrick White of New Egypt; his three grandchildren, Juniper Doyle, Julian Doyle and Damian Gallagher; and his cousin, Beverly Smith of Toms River. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 2PM to 4PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11AM at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery, located at 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, NJ 08830. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Bruce to the President Trump Re-Election Campaign. Social distancing and face coverings are required at the funeral home, with a maximum limit of 25 people at a time allowed inside.
