Born and raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on May 16, 1936 and later migrating to New York City as young man, Caesar served his country as an airman of United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. However, his fervor for service did not end after his honorable discharge.
Caesar was devout Catholic and pillar in the Church as he served as a master catechist in the Diocese of Los Angeles for several years. Always fiercely committed to his belief in God, his faith never wavered. Aside from the profound religious contributions he made, Caesar also impacted many lives throughout his career in the entertainment industry.
His passion for the arts, music, history, and literature were some of many, and his avid support for his favorite team, the New York Mets, was unparalleled. Anyone that crossed paths with Caesar would tell you that his charismatic nature and witty persona shined through every moment of his life. He always had a tremendous sense of humor and he exuded a distinct confidence like no other. Caesar was truly the star of the show wherever he went.
