Edward S. Snider, age 62, of Browns Mills, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2020 in South Brunswick, New Jersey. Ed was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 24, 1958. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country. Ed served 3 years in the Army and did another 10 years in the Army Reserves. In 1978, Ed met Barbara and the two were married in 1985. He worked as a truck driver and took great pride in being a provider for his family. He enjoyed watching sports on tv, gardening and watching the birds. Ed was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Ed is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his adored wife, Barbara Snider (nee Anderson) of Browns Mills; his three children, Dorothy Montoya of Texas, Christina Snider of Browns Mills and Edwards S. Snider II of Browns Mills; his three grandchildren, Dominic, Aubrie and Amanda; his great-grandchild, Nayeli; his brother, Gilbert Castro of Texas; his sister, Sylvia Healy of Texas; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Services for Ed are being held private as per his wishes. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, New Jersey 08533.
