Please share a memory of Loretta to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On September 14, 2020 Loretta Tibbetts passed away at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. She was 66 years old.
Loretta was born in Elkins, WV to the late Paul and Hettie Summerfield on September 7, 1954. She moved to Freehold, NJ when she was about 11 years old. After many years, Loretta moved to New Egypt, where she had been a resident for the past 21 years. Loretta was such a beautiful soul inside and out. She was loved by everyone she met. Loretta stayed strong through all her battles. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. She loved her family so much, especially her daughter and grandkids. She also had many “neighborhood” grandchildren that loved her as her own. Loretta loved spending time at Seaside beach, going out to dinner and decorating for holidays; all of which will never be the same. She enjoyed taking trips to WV to see her family and for the Forest Festival. The world will never be the same without her.
Loretta is preceded by her mother Hettie Benyola; her father, Paul Summerfield; her 2 brothers and 3 sisters; and many other family members.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Tibbetts of Browns Mills, NJ; her dear friend of 10 years Isaac Hooey; her daughter, Leta Huitron and five beautiful grandchildren Kelsey, Joleen, Hailey, Luis and Austin all from New Egypt, NJ. Loretta is also survived by her 2 brothers, Delmas Summerfield of Elkins, WV, and Danny Summerfield and wife Doreen of Elkins, WV; many nieces and nephews that she loved very much and other family members who she cherished.
