Evelyn T. Marut, age 68, of North Hanover Twp., died Sunday, January 6 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born in Trenton, she was a resident there until moving to North Hanover Twp. 21 years ago. Evelyn was a retired Auditor for the Division of Motor Vehicles in Trenton. She also was a member of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt. Daughter of the late Walter & Theresa (DiMarcello) Marut; she is survived by her sister, Doris Marut and by her dear friend Joan Ann Dempsey both of North Hanover Twp., also survived by her friends, Charlotte & Emil Bobik of Junction City, OH, Annette Ruby of Greenville, SC, Emil & Sherrill Bobik, Jr. of Pickerington, OH, Rick & Sherry Denney of Colorado and Fran Rossadivito & Ruth Rowan both of Florida. Funeral services and interment in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery in Trenton are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt.
