Kathie was a dedicated teacher, a tireless advocate for the profession and was respected throughout the County for her efforts on behalf of education. My deepest condolences to all the family. She earned her Wings. My best memory of Kathy is how much she loved her husband and her sons I learned so much from this beautiful lady and even though I had not seen her since 1990 when I left Mc Guire I keep her in my heart as my family while I was her neighbor on base. She taught me so much in the kitchen and I concerned her an excellent cook. Xmas was truly Xmas in her kitchen. Her cookies were the best. I will miss her memories with a heavy heart. God bless you all. She will be missed terribly. Elisa Mendez
