Linda G. Beahm, age 79, of Browns Mills passed away Monday, January 11 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in River Falls, SC, she was a resident of Browns Mills since 1986. Linda was born to the late Edith and B. Nix in 1941. She married her true love Leon in 1957 and became a military wife. Linda worked as a manager at the AAFES at McGuire AFB, NJ. After her retirement on the base she also worked in the accounting department at Burlington Coat Factory. Linda was an active member of the Fort Dix Base Chapel, the Women’s Bible Study Group at the Base Chapel and she was also a member of the Cookstown VFW Post 6590. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be missed by all. Linda was predeceased by her parents and also by a brother, Wayne Nix. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Leon Beahm; three sons, Carlton Lee Beahm and wife Joy of Campobello, SC, Hollis H. Beahm and wife Donna of Havelock, NC and Ronald E. Beahm and wife Tammy of Danville, AR; a brother, David G. Nix and wife Carol of Temple, TX; nine grandchildren, Amanda Clark, Bo Beahm, Angel Beahm, Justice Beahm, Brady Beahm, Adrian Beahm, Vanessa Beahm, Matthew Beahm and Jeremiah Beahm; four great grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services for Linda will be held on Thursday, January 14 at 3:30 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Visitation will be held on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest, SC.
