Obituary of Kenneth C. Ivins

Kenneth C. Ivins, age 75, a lifelong New Egypt resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, New Jersey. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey on May 25, 1945 to the late Kenneth E. and Dorothy G. Ivins (nee Earley). After high school, Kenny was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Kenny was a life member of the New Egypt Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the American Legion Post 455. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for JCP&L until his retirement in 2004. Kenny was a loving son, father and brother who will be deeply missed.
Kenny is predeceased by his parents and by his brother, Paul Ivins. He leaves behind his son, Scott Ivins of New Egypt and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 10AM to 1PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A funeral service will begin at 1PM with interment to follow at Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery, Jacobstown, NJ.
