Harry “Ray” Willitts, Jr., age 57, of Browns Mills, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2021. He was born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey to Ray and Devona Willitts on March 15, 1963. Ray worked as a Mason and spent most of his time helping family and friends with masonry projections. He enjoyed watching baseball and football, hanging out with his dog Lambchop and his cat Hank. Ray’s favorite pastime was watching all the old TV shows and playing horseshoes. He was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed. Ray is predeceased by his brother, Brian Willitts and by his brother-in-law Rusty Chamberlain. He is survived by his son, Eric Willitts (Erin) of Columbia, Tennessee; by his two daughters, Amanda Mowery (Shawn) of Wrightstown, New Jersey and Kayla Weiss (Gregory) of Browns Mills, New Jersey; and by his parents, Ray and Devona Willitts of Lakeland, Florida. He also leaves his brother, Jody Willitts (Debbie) of Browns Mills, New Jersey; his two sisters, Nona Chamberlain of Columbus, New Jersey and Tammy Willitts (Ed) of New Lenox, Illinois; his two adored grandchildren, Octavia and Ezria; his longtime friend, Faye Green of Cookstown, NJ; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Funeral services for Ray are being held private at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt, New Jersey.
