Myrna I. Arsenault (nee Bowers), age 84, longtime resident of New Egypt passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Pickering Manor in Newtown PA. She was born at home, in Hamburg PA, to the late Alvin and Grace Bowers on December 14, 1936. Myrna's first job, while still in school, was at the tuberculous sanitarium in Hamburg PA. As an Air Force wife she lived in Virginia, Alaska (moving there when it was a U.S. territory and leaving when it was a state), Alabama, Germany, Kansas, New Jersey and Texas. Myrna enjoyed traveling (Maine, Florida, New Orleans, Netherlands, Italy...), the Jersey Shore, exploring the back roads of NJ and PA, working in her yard and being with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed. Myrna is predeceased by her husband Albert Arsenault, her parents Alvin and Grace Bowers (nee Hartman), her son Timothy Correll and her sister Shirley Adams. She leaves behind a son Steve Correll and his wife Vicki, her granddaughter Katie Correll, her sister Bernice Rissmiller and her husband Robert and her brother Dennis Bowers and his wife Louise. Due to current restrictions, funeral services and interment for Myrna will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt.
