Jeffrey Russo, age 75, of New Egypt passed away Saturday, April 24 at home. Born in Somerville, NJ to the late James and Helen Russo, he has been a resident of New Egypt since 1974. Jeff was employed as a salesman for John Deere. He was a member of the Jacobstown Baptist Church. Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren. Jeff was predeceased by his parents and by a son, James V. Russo. He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen (nee Piljar) Russo; a son, Marc Russo and wife Linda of New Egypt; three grandchildren, Laura Cusmano and husband Carl and their children Giovanni, Gabriel and Lucian, Mandee Russo and her fiancé Alex Garzon and their son Sonny and Marc Russo, Jr. and his boyfriend Daniel Carvalho; two brothers, James Russo of Hamilton and Gregory Russo of Naples, FL; a step-brother, John Spiegel of Pennsylvania and a step-sister, Maryann. Graveside services for Jeff will be held on Friday, April 30 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Assumption Parish Cemetery, 76 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeff’s memory can be made to the Jacobstown Baptist Church, 49 Jacobstown-Arneytown Road, Jacobstown, NJ 08562.
