Patricia R. DiPaola, age 80, of Cream Ridge passed away Monday, May 3 at RWJ University Medical Center in Hamilton. Born in Philadelphia to the late Ruth (Wager) and Raymond Reid, Sr., she was a resident of Cream Ridge for the past 21 years and formerly of Hamilton.
Pat had worked for a time as a hostess at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. She enjoyed swimming and diving and trips to Wildwood and Myrtle Beach. Pat also loved to crochet and her trips to Atlantic City. But most of all she treasured time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be missed by all.
Pat was predeceased by her parents; her husband Charles V. DiPaola in 2007; a daughter, Debra Lynn DiPaola in 1973 and her siblings, Raymond Reid, Jr. in 1973, Elizabeth Downs in 2004 and Shirley Fletcher in 2014. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon A. and Raymond Menchaca of Hamilton; a son and daughter-in-law, Salvator V. and Sherri DiPaola of Eastampton; four grandchildren, Evan DiPaola and Colin, Bryce DiPaola, Kyle Menchaca and Alec Menchaca and her special friend and companion, Robert Fletcher of Cream Ridge.
Funeral services for Pat will be held on Monday, May 10 at 1:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with burial to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. Calling hours will be on Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pat’s memory can be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, P. O.
