Obituary of Sophie A. Diblin

Sophie A. (nee Zebrowski) Diblin, age 82, of Willingboro died Thursday, February 7 at Virtua Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Delran, she was a 40 year resident of Willingboro. Sophie attended St. Casimir School and later Palmyra High School. In her youth, Sophie and brother Richard, owned and operated the Park Inn Tavern, a family business. Sophie is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, James S. Diblin; two loving children, Barbara Dunn and fianc? Art Schipske and Sam Diblin and wife Jeanne; her grandchildren, the lights of her life, Drew Dunn and Jackie and Sammy Diblin and a great grandson, Anthony Dunn. Sophie took great pride and pleasure in being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, companion and friend to all who knew her. Sophie is sister to Felicia Grabowski and late brothers Raymond, Richard and Al Zebrowski. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in the Zebrowski and Diblin families. Friends and family are invited to the funeral and interment services for Sophie at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ on Monday, February 11 at 10:30 AM. Luncheon is immediately following at Cater 2 U, 2901 Marne Highway, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Flowers are not permitted due to cemetery regulations, but memorial contributions in Sophie?s name can be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
