To the Stokes Family, I first met Paul when we were assigned with 72 Field Artillery Brigade, Fort Dix. Although I worked at Headquarters and he was with 1-309th, our sections interacted a lot with one another since we all were HR professionals. Moving forward we started working together again a year or so later after he joined Team Princeton when I joined Headquarters 2nd ROTC Brigade. Paul was a very respectful and kind person, and it was an honor serving with him. My sincere condolences to the family and I will keep you in my prayers. Respectfully, Richard Titus Jr

To the Stokes Family, I met Paul during my tour of duty at Fort Stewart Georgia in the early 1990's. He and I was stationed in the same unit. Fast forward approximately 25 years and we reunited with the United States Army Cadet Command. I remember this Veteran Warrior as a very respectful and kind gentleman. Carlos was a man full of joy and happiness. He never failed to make us smile and laugh whenever we saw him. We will never forget his laugh and smile and most importantly we will never forget the great man he was. Through his personality we can see the greater husband and father he is.
