Joan A. Archacavage, age 77, resident of Cream Ridge, formerly of New Egypt, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at home. She was born October 28, 1943 in Cookstown, NJ to the late Anthony and Violet (nee Grant) Champion. Joan worked on the assembly line at Davlyn Industries located in Monroe, NJ. She was a member of New Egypt Methodist Church. Joan enjoyed going boating and camping. She used to love playing the piano. Joan was an avid bird lover. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that will be deeply missed. Joan is predeceased by her beloved husband Chester M. Archacavage; her son, Costy Archacavage; and by her parents, Anthony and Violet Champion. She leaves behind her two children, Gary Archacavage and wife Rosemarie of Cream Ridge, and Valerie Verderosa and husband Robert of Robbinsville; three grandchildren, Michael Archacavage, Kayla Archacavge, and Emily Archacavge; her brother, Ronald Champion and wife Carrie of Whiting, several nieces and nephews; and a close family friend, Andrea Tilton. Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A funeral service will be begin at 11:00 PM with interment to follow at Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery located at 49 Jacobstown Arneytown Road, Wrightstown NJ 08562.
