Edward A. Moe, age 82, of Deptford died Saturday, February 23 at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury. Born in Pullman, Washington, he was a resident of Deptford since 1993 and was formerly of Perrineville. Edward was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Force. He was a graduate of the University of Idaho and was a civil engineer in the Freehold area, retiring in 1993 from ESP Associates in Howell. He was a member of the Pine Barrens Barber Shop Chorus in Cherry Hill. He enjoyed bowling and liked to travel with his longtime companion, Ingrid. Edward was predeceased by his parents, Elmer B. and Edna Moe, his wife, Maxine B. Moe, a brother, Elmer Moe and his granddaughter, Nadine Wells. He is survived by his longtime companion, Ingrid Brennan of Deptford; a daughter, Cynthia Meehan and husband Thomas of Browns Mills; two sisters, Barbara Dean of Tacoma, WA and Eline Lamson of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren, Karen Ralston and husband Craig of Millstone Twp. and Laurence Wells and wife Rita of North Hanover Twp.; and four grandchildren, Nicholas and Samantha Wells and Rachel and Christopher Ralston. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 27 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Rev. William Walker, officiating. Burial will follow in Emley?s Hill Cemetery in Cream Ridge. Calling hours will be on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
