Obituary of Kenneth P. Carson

Kenneth P. Carson, age 49 of Cream Ridge, passed away on February 11, 2022 in Bonita Springs, Florida. Born in Summit, NJ and raised in Lincroft, NJ. He attended St. Leo the Great School and then graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1990 before attending college. He lived in Milltown for many years before moving to Cream Ridge 8 years ago.
Ken was the Director of Technology for CGS - Computer Generated Solutions in New York City for 12 years, and most recently was the Vice President of Kinly, Inc. in Cedar Knolls, NJ. He was the President of AMIB- Association for Multiple Impaired Blind for 11 years, served on the Plumsted Planning Board, was a Leader and Pack Committee Chair of Cub Scouts and a New Egypt Warriors Football Coach.
Ken had many hobbies and could fix or build anything. Ken was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, smoking meat and cooking BBQ for his family and friends. He enjoyed target shooting, the occasional cigar and loved listening to music. His kind spirit, generosity, and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Ken is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Clare Carson; the love of his life, his wife of 17 years, Jen Carson; his children, Sean and Lauren Carson; his brother, Michael Carson; his sister, Colleen and her husband Mark Healey; his Mother-in-law, Lorrie Filter; brothers-in-law, Ben and his wife Dana Filter and Evan and his wife Tricia Filter: his sister-in-law Erin and her husband Derek Scholl; his nieces and nephews, Eddie, Drew, Emily, Rylee, Henry, Hannah, Ella, Meghan, Kate and Erin; and his dog, Max.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday February 20th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Monday, February 21st at Church of the Assumption, 28 Monmouth Road, New Egypt, NJ (Google may list town as Wrightstown).
Immediately following the Mass, the family invites everyone to the New Egypt Fire House for a Celebration of Life BBQ in honor of Ken which is located at 59 Main St, New Egypt, NJ.
