Arthur G. Hornsteiner, age 92, longtime resident of Manchester, formerly of Toms River, passed away March 2, 2022 at AristaCare at Manchester. He was born in New York, NY on August 6, 1929 to the late Anthony and Mary Hornsteiner. Arthur served proudly in the United States Marine Corps from 1948 to 1952. He worked at IGA in Lakehurst as a produce manager. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that will be deeply missed. Arthur is predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary Hornsteiner. He leaves behind his two sons, Arthur M. Hornsteiner and wife Diane of Freehold, and Donald W. Hornsteiner and wife Jo Ann of Manchester; his granddaughter, Jennifer; along with other grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; his sister, Florence Karst of Edgewater; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 11:30 AM at BGWCD Veteran Memorial Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. If you will be attending the service, please arrive at the cemetery at 11:15 AM.
