Melissa (Smith) Derevlany, age 47, of Westampton died Monday, March 3 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Waterbury, CT, she was a resident of Westampton since 1990 and formerly of North Hanover Township. Daughter of the late William J. Derevlany, Melissa is survived by her mother, Dorothy Derevlany of Westampton; a sister, Valerie Connolly and husband James of Chesterfield Twp.; a brother, William Derevlany, Jr. and wife Yolanda of Richmond, VA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Burial will follow in the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Melissa?s memory may be made to the Church of the Assumption Building Fund, 76 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
