Paul J. Clark, age 80 of Cookstown, passed away on Sunday, July 17, at home. Born in Morrisville, PA, he lived in Chesterfield for many years, before moving to Cookstown in 1995.
Paul was an electrician with IBEW Local 269, he served in the US Navy aboard the USS Wadleigh and was proud to be a Veteran. He loved horse racing, going to the casino, fishing, flea markets, spending time with his grandchildren, and the NY Mets. Above all, Paul was all about his family and would make any sacrifice needed to provide for them.
Predeceased by his father, Morris Ostopuck, his sisters, Stella Danbury and Rosemarie Companick, and his brother-in-law Sonny Companick; Paul is survived by his cherished wife of 54 years, Marie; his sons and their spouses, Paul Jr. and his fiancé Alice of Shark River Hills, and Scott and Kathy of Summit; his grandchildren, William, Jessica, Ella, and Lauren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday July 21, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt and on Friday, July 22 from 11:00am until the time of service at 12:00noon. Burial will follow in the Brig. Gen. WC Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
