Charles E. Hacker, age 87, longtime area resident of Cookstown, formerly of Delaware, passed away unexpectedly in Big Island, Hawaii on June 29, 2022. He was born November 15, 1935 in Smithers, WV to the late McDonald and Losha (nee Westfield) Wolfe. Charles was the life of the party who loved to sing, dance, and entertain everyone. He was a life member of the VFW Post 6590 in Cookstown, and the American Legion in Delaware. Charles made family and friends everywhere he went. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend that will be deeply missed. Charles is predeceased by his son, Edward “Eddie” Charles Hacker; his parents, McDonald and Losha Wolfe; and his siblings, Walter Hacker, Raymond Hacker, Robert Hacker, Helen Ellis, and Mary Lamb. He leaves behind his daughters, Marie Biss and husband Chris of England, and Kasey Eisenhour and Rodney of Hawaii; his eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many more like family and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather on August 5, 2022 at 1:30 PM for a memorial service at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Calling hours will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow at BGWCD Veteran Memorial Cemetery located 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
