Carl H. Crawford, age 85, of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, at home. Born in Lakehurst, he was a resident of Jackson, and Lakehurst prior to moving to Manchester. Carl worked in the maintenance department for the Borough of Lakehurst for many years before retiring. He loved country music and singing. Predeceased by his parents, Ira and Mary Crawford, and his 3 sisters, Kathryn Sprague, Martha Vaugh, and Verna Dilly; Carl is survived by his wife of 23 years, Henrietta. A graveside service for Carl will be held on Wednesday, September 7, at 11:00am in the Emleys Hill Cemetery, 69 Emleys Hill Road, Upper Freehold. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ at 10:30am Wednesday, and follow in procession to the cemetery.
