Cindy J. Custer, age 65, lifetime area resident of New Egypt, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at CenterState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. She was born April 17, 1957 in Perth Amboy, NJ to Carl and Emma (nee Harker) Baker. Cindy retired from Allentown School District as a bus driver. She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts, and loved her cats. Cindy was a lifetime member of the New Egypt First Aid Squad. Most importantly she loved spending time with her granddaughter Hope. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed. Cindy is predeceased by her father, Carl Baker. She leaves behind her two sons, Ryan Custer and girlfriend Michelle Motta of New Egypt, and Jamie Custer and wife Lexi of Florida; her five grandchildren, Hope Elizabeth, Damari Gloria, Xander James, Myles Veda, Alexis Ayla; her mother, Emma Baker; her brother and sister, Buck Baker, and Donna Baker Loichle; and many extended family members. Funeral services for Cindy are being held privately at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
