Obituary of Louise H. Van Siclen

Louise H. (nee Dombek) Van Siclen, age 84, longtime area resident of Cream Ridge, formerly of Freehold, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. She was born on July 19, 1938 in Neptune, NJ to the late Steven and Madeline (nee Fariello) Dombek. Louise worked and retired as a school administrative secretary for Freehold Intermediate School. She enjoyed card stamping, cooking, and canning. Louise liked sewing, crocheting, and cross stitching. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt that will be deeply missed. Louise is predeceased by her two daughters, Kim Hietala, and Kate Doolen; and by her parents, Steven and Madeline Dombek. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years, Martin H. Van Siclen of Cream Ridge; her two daughters, Kelly Van Siclen of Union Beach, and Karen Holohan and fiancé Guy Luongo of Williamstown; her grandchildren, Jaclyn Holohan, Carly Holohan, and several four legged grandchildren; her sister, Carol Torres of Whiting; and several nephews and a niece. Funeral Services for Louise are being held privately at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ. A Celebration of Life for Louise will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 1PM to 5PM at 20 Longview Drive Cream Ridge, NJ 08514 (Deep Run Community Club House.)
