Doris E. Boss, age 73, a long time resident of New Egypt, formerly of Dutch Neck, NJ, passed away February 21, 2023 at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell, NJ. She was born on July 29, 1949 in Trenton, NJ to the late Harold and Marion (nee Stout) Everett. Doris was a long time employee of the McGraw Hill Company and a member of both the New Egypt and Dutch Neck Presbyterian Churches. She was devoted to her faith and taught Sunday school classes when she was younger. Doris loved to read and to listen to her gospel music. Her greatest joy was in raising her three children and then watching them have families of their own. She enjoyed watching her seven grandchildren grow from babies to teenagers. Doris was an animal lover, especially devoted to her cats. She was a very loving wife, mother, Mom Mom, and sister, and she will be deeply missed. Doris is predeceased by her parents, and her beloved husband of 50 years, David L. Boss. She leaves behind her three children, Jenny Boss Parsons and husband Jeffrey of Ewing, Davy Boss and wife Tina of Florence, and Lee Boss and wife Lisa of Robbinsville; her seven grandchildren, Brenna Boss, Matthew Boss, Julia Boss, Joel Parsons, Blake Boss, Lexi Boss, and Samantha Parsons; and her two siblings, Paul Everett and wife Sue of Arizona, and Marie Perduk and husband John of Arizona. Funeral Services for Doris are being held privately at the respect of the family.
