She is survived by her four children Leslie Dixon, Susan Wannamaker, Donna Delgado and Irvin Dixon Jr. She had nine grandchildren Jennifer Deeds, Deanna Mills, Michael Wannamaker, John Wannamaker, Richard Wannamaker, William Delgado, Robert Delgado, Andrew Dixon and Dawn Dixon. Her Great-Grandchildren Chelsea, Connor, Chase, Karlee, Nicky, Elizabeth, Jacob, Charlie, Autumn and Alexis. Her Great-Great-Grandchildren Emma and Lily. She is also survived by her sister Dianne Sanders.
Janet was an Avid Phillies and Eagles fan, often not missing a game on the TV unless they were losing and she chose to turn the TV off. Other than the news she often had her Hallmark channels on. Everyone knows her love of Moose and countless trips to Maine just to catch a glimpse of a moose. We would drive for hours up and down the same road just to see one. Even if we did not catch a glimpse it was still a trip to remember. She raised not only her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she was sure to spoil them all. Trips to Santa’s Village in New Hampshire, North Pole in New York and Florida for Disney of course. She was so happy being able to take a trip to Tennessee with her sisters and being able to see a family of bears which was her highlight of the trip. She also had the tiniest notebook that listed the countless romance novels she had read. Everyone loved when she made her homemade fruitcakes, applesauce and pies.
At Janet’s request there will not be a service. She will be placed next to her husband at Jacobstown Cemetery with her immediate family at her side.
