Thanks to all the moms , in the neighborhood of Browns Mills, who help rear me. One in particular is Mrs. Johnson, she was and still remains my best friend’s mom. Mrs Johnson showed me that full is never full. As she would tote, her sons, and their friends to football practice in her light blue Maverick. If you were heading to practice and there was room, Mrs. Johnson would say hop on in, equipment and all and off to practice we would go. Growing up I was honored to enjoy some of Mrs. Johnson cooking, if you left her table hungry, it was your own fault. One thing in particular I saw, was my friend’s pride and love for his mom. Phil loved his mom and her cooking.
One dessert she would make was blueberry cobbler, “Yum-me”, but for Phil it was out of this world! When he would eat that dessert he would be on cloud nine beaming with happiness and full of admiration and love for what his mom had created. He would talk about the cobbler for weeks.
Mrs. Johnson was also, one of my first employers. When Phil and I were trying to earn money to go on a week long school trip in the spring, she help us out, by making us Avon sales reps.
We would go from house to house of friends, and neighbors, showing them the new and upcoming Avon books. We weren’t the sales kids of the month, but we did make some sales, Mrs Johnson would say” Phil you watch out for Jimmie, and Jimmie you watch out for Phil”. That statement has carried us through, grade school, high school, college and life.
Thank you , Mrs Johnson for, the memoirs, your guidance and your love
Jimmie Heath Jr.

This is from Judy's friend, Dennis:
Sorry to hear about your mother and my friend, Judy. I knew her back in the 60's when everything was well and nice and I reconnected with her a few years ago. I loved her like a sister. She will be missed.

Judy was an amazing person from the first time I met her. She wad so down to earth sweet love able and caring. She would tell me stories about her days of working as a CNA, and how well she cared for her patients/residents. It was so nice being able to talk to Judy she was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold.
I will always miss her calling me giggles as I walked down the hallways making residents laugh, she would always say “There’s my Giggles.”
I will never forget teasing Judy about her “cowgirls” when they lost to the EAGLES! But we had a great time and she will always be in my heart . She really was a wonderful kind soul.

I met Judy through my aunt Marianne back in 1986 at the Post Bar. Judy taught me how to dance the electric slide and we used dance all the time. She was an awesome lady and my aunts best friend for about 50 years. She was a beautiful spirit and a great lady. She will be missed. Judy, send us a smile from heaven when u think of us.
With love,
Victor DeNapoli
