Carole A. Harrison, 84, a cherished resident of Delaware, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Born on August 23, 1939, in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, to the late George and Margaret Borden. Carole's life was filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her family. Carole had a passion for crocheting, creating beautiful clothing and blankets for her loved ones. Her hands were always busy, whether she was sewing, cooking, or decorating her home. She found joy in the arts, particularly enjoying painting alongside Bob Ross's instructional videos. Family was at the heart of Carole's world. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. As a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Carole's warmth and kindness touched many generations and her presence will be profoundly missed. Preceding her in death was her husband, William Harrison; her children, Edward Buster Hopkins, Dale Hopkins, and Deborah Gail Hammond. She leaves behind her seven children, Linda Turki of Wisconsin, Don Hopkins and wife Tillie of New Egypt, NJ, Lisa Wilson of Dover, De, William Judge Harrison and wife Allyson of Waco,Ky, Carole Nunny Harrison and husband Roudie of Camden, De, Henry Harrison and wife Madge of Waco,Ky, Rowdy Harrison of Dover, De; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; Carole was also a beloved sister of Shirley Halpin of Wrightsown, Nj and a dear friend to many. Carole leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity that will live on through her family and the many lives she touched. Visitation will be held at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 6 PM to 9 PM. A funeral service for Carole will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Jacobstown Cemetery at 12 PM.
