Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
John H. Bereznak, Jr., age 68, a lifetime resident of New Egypt passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital of Hamilton, NJ with his family by his side. He was born on March 15, 1956 to John, Sr. and Patricia Bereznak. John graduated from Allentown High School in 1974 and then went to Trenton State College for his teaching Degree. Before receiving his teaching degree he worked and helped his father with his Standard bred harness horses, traveling to many racetracks on the East Coast; from Vermont to Florida. His favorite horses throughout the years were BurnsGuy and OtecaMas. John “Mr. B” was a Kindergarten teacher for Pemberton Township School District at Howard Emmons School and retired after over 40 years. This was his lifelong passion of teaching and working with his students. He has enriched the lives of so many of his students by giving them the foundation they need to become wonderful adults by not only being a great role model, but also by supporting and teaching them to make good choices to achieve good things in life. John also worked at the MHO Hotel (formerly Econolodge) in Bordentown as a Desk Clerk for 44 years. He enjoyed working there and the owner and manager treated him like family. When John wasn’t working, he loved going to Country concerts and going to dinner with friends. He loved NASCAR and traveling to many racetracks to watch his favorite driver Rusty Wallace. John’s all time favorite past time was going Dirt Track Racing to watch his favorite driver Billy Pauch, Sr. He has been going to the tracks since he was a young boy – going to East Windsor, Wall Stadium, New Egypt, Bridgeport, Flemington, Syracuse, Kutztown, and many more. John’s pride and joy was his three RED Pontiac Trans Am cars and his one RED Chevy Camaro LT1. John was predeceased by a sister (1958), his mother, Patricia (1980) and his brother, Joseph (2017). John is survived by his father, John Sr.; his sister, Jill Hinchman and her husband Sam, his step-siblings and their families, Daniel, Sarah, Garry, Harvey, Jackie, and Jameison. John had many racing friends, teaching friends, and work friends that he cherished greatly. John was a wonderful son, brother, and friend. He was caring and also willing to help someone out in a time of need. John will be forever and greatly missed by all who knew him.
