Born in Allentown, NJ, she lived in the northern part of Burlington County for many years before moving to Cookstown in 1995. Marie graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1964 before going on to secretarial school at Catherine Gibbs. She was intent on a career as a secretary before she met and fell in love with the love of her life, her husband Paul. Marie was a very dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother for many years, taking excellent care of her family. Once her children were older, she took on various part-time jobs, notably she spent most of the last 25 years working as a cashier at Chesterfield General Store, where she continued to work until her passing. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Bordentown, NJ for many decades. Marie always put her family first and she put all her love and boundless energy into them and everything she did. She loved going to the casino, watching her favorite soap opera, General Hospital, and rooting for her favorite sports teams – the Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies and Eagles. She enjoyed baking cookies, working in her yard and keeping her home immaculate. Most of all she loved her family, her two sons and their spouse and fiancée, and her four grandchildren. She truly was the glue that held her family together and she will be missed by everyone she touched during her life. Predeceased by her father, Bartholomew Spinella, her mother, Angilena Hasson, her stepfather Edgar Hasson, and her husband Paul; Marie is survived by her sons Paul Jr. and his fiancée Alice of Shark River Hills, and Scott and his wife Kathy of Summit; her grandchildren, William, Jessica, Ella, and Lauren, and many nieces and nephews.
