Kenneth David Sager, age 82, passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2024 in Hospice of North Idaho in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Kenny was a lifelong resident of Columbus, New Jersey. He moved to Sandpoint, ID in April 2023 to be in assisted living and near his daughter, Lisa. He was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, on May 1, 1942 to the late Samuel and Elsie Sager. Kenny was the nineth child of thirteen. Kenny married Carol A. Stanhope on August 31, 1963 and they shared a loving life together. Kenny was predeceased by his wife Carol in December 2020. He is survived by his son Darren and wife Kristine and their daughters Maddy and Kylie and his daughter Lisa and husband Donny and their son Dakota and his wife Lindsay. He is also survived by siblings Samuel, Jesse and his wife Mary Ann, Sharon Scott, Amy Ally, David and Rose Zamensky. Kenny retired from the Burlington County Institute of Technology in Medford, NJ, in 2011, as a custodian. Kenny was a lifelong member of the New Egypt Elks. He enjoyed camping and traveling across the country with Carol making a point to stop at every historical marker. He especially enjoyed their many trips with their children and grandchildren. Kenny always liked meeting and talking with new people wherever he went. Kenny loved spending time outdoors and could always be found working in his garage and in the yard. He especially cherished his time spent with his family and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A life celebration will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
