Carol R. Raine, age 68, of New Egypt, passed away Tuesday, August, 19 at her home with her close friends by her side. Born in Garfield, NJ, she was a resident of New Egypt since 1975. Wife of the late, Kenneth E. Raine, she is survived by her step-children, Virginia Raine of Red Bank, Laurinda Ross of Little Silver, Valerie Youngblood of Brooklyn, NY, Victoria Beaman of Arlington, TN, Cordelia Raine of New York, Randolph Raine of Mayo, MD and Kenneth Raine, Jr. of Atlantic Highlands, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and her good friends, Scott & Elizabeth Carver and Helen Carver of Wrightstown. As per Carol?s wishes, there is no viewing or funeral service and interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
