Robert A. ?Bobby? Goff, age 73, of New Egypt, died Saturday, August 23 at RWJ University Medical Center in Hamilton. Born in New Egypt, he was a lifetime area resident. Bobby was a retired civil service employee at Fort Dix and also served in the US Army from 1957-1959. He was a 55 year member and Past Chief of the New Egypt Vol. Fire Company, a State Forest Fire Warden for Section B, District 9, an Exempt and Life member of the NJ State Firemen?s Association and a member of the New Egypt Historical Society, the Ocean County Historical Society and the NJ State Farm Bureau. Son of the late Chester ?Ted? and Eleanor (Letts) Goff, Bobby is survived by his close friends, Rusty and Eunice Arnold and Family of New Egypt. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Mayor Ronald Dancer, officiating. Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will in the Cream Ridge Cemetery in Cream Ridge.
