Robert I. Hallock, age 81, of New Egypt died Tuesday, October 21 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Southampton, LI, NY, he was a resident of New Egypt since 1952. Bob was a farmer, operating ?Hallock?s U-Pick Farm? in New Egypt with his family for over 50 years. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post 455 in New Egypt and a former member of the New Egypt Elks Lodge. Bob had been active with the Cub Scouts and was a former Director of the Tri-County Auction in Hightstown for several years. Brother of the late Leonard Hallock, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Blanche (Fischer) Hallock, a daughter, Deborah (Hallock) Grover of New Egypt; four sons, Douglas Hallock, Robert A. Hallock and wife Sue, Charles Hallock and wife Tricia all of New Egypt and Peter Hallock and wife Regina of Coco Beach, FL; two sisters, Lenore Fitzpatrick of Florida and Gwendolyn Hallock of Robbinsville; six grandchildren, Jessica Pullen, Jennalee, Danielle and Stacey Hallock and Christopher and Crystal Grover and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 26 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob?s memory may be made to the New Egypt First Aid Squad, P. O. Box 368, New Egypt, NJ 08533 or to the New Egypt Vol. Fire Co., P. O.
