Ann M. Simonson, age 79, of Whiting died Wednesday, November 5 at Arista Care Rehab in Whiting. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Morganville, NJ for 46 years, before moving to Cedar Glen Lakes in Whiting in 2007. Ann was a graduate with honors from St. Michael?s High School in Union City, NJ. Daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Weckerle; she is survived by her husband, William J. ?Bill? Simonson; her daughters, Karen Wanskus & husband John of Colts Neck, Donna Resto of Cookstown and Dawn Suarez & husband Michael of Jackson; her sons, William J. Simonson, Jr. of Freehold and Scott Simonson of Avenel and four grandchildren, Shawn, Jesse, Kira and Shane. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 7 at 12:00 Noon at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Burial will follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening, November 6 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
