Elizabeth D. Flanly-Aufiero, age 77, of Browns Mills died Friday, November 7 at her residence. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was a resident of Browns Mills for the past 4 years and formerly lived in Jackson, Asbury Park, Neptune and Lakewood. In her early years, Elizabeth was a business owner and administrative assistent and later on went back to school to earn a B.S. Degree in Social Work from Kean College in 1992 and then a Masters Degree from the Rutgers University School of Social Work in 1996. She also enjoyed her time studying abroad in Ecuador. She was the owner of her own private practice, Hamilton Counseling on Klockner Road in Hamilton Twp. from 1997 to 2007. She was pre-deceased by her former husband, Joseph A. Aufiero and by her sons, Andrew and George Aufiero. Elizabeth is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph & Patricia Aufiero of Jackson and their son John, Raymond & Kim Aufiero of Wall Township and their children, Dean, Tony, James, Nikki and Philip, Dr. Patrick & Diane Aufiero of Columbus and their children Max and Tyler; a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Aufiero of Browns Mills and her children Anneliese Aufiero, Autumn Pittelli & husband Craig and William Powell; two great grandchildren, Savannah & Isabella Pittelli and two sisters, June Parsons of New Britain, CT and Martha Gale of Florida. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 9 at 4:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with calling hours from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
