Harriet E. ?Hattie? Murphy, age 83, of New Egypt died Monday, December 1 at Sterling House Assisted Living in Florence, NJ. Born in Trenton, she lived most of her life in New Egypt. Hattie had worked as an Aide for the Plumsted Township Elementary School in New Egypt. Wife of the late F. Andrew Murphy and mother of the late Sandra Coulbourn, she is survived by a daughter, Carol Sager and husband Kenneth of Columbus; a son-in-law, Franklin Coulbourn, Sr. of Carneys Point; four grandchildren, Darren Sager and wife Kris of Burlington, Lisa Blaese and husband Donald of Sandpoint, ID, Franklin Coulbourn and wife Stacey of Maryland and Tammy Wood and husband Chris of Carneys Point and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 4 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Burial will follow in the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
