Obituary of Norman Foulks

Norman Foulks, Sr., age 88, of Browns Mills died Wednesday, December 3 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Born in Cookstown, he was a lifetime area resident. Norman was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII. He was retired from the Road Department for Pemberton Township. Norman also built many houses in the area while employed for O?Brien & Sons Builders in Browns Mills. He was involved in the Cranberry Industry in Whitesbog when he was young and also was a longtime Blueberry Farmer. Son of the late Albert & Lydia Foulks, husband of the late Gloria V. Foulks and brother of the late Roy, Ernie and Edith; he is survived by a son, Norman Foulks, Jr. of Browns Mills; a daughter, Jean LeDoux and her companion Mark Hallik of Browns Mills; a sister-in-law, Edna Foulks of Browns Mills and several cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Pemberton Borough. Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to Noon at the funeral home.
