Obituary of Charles R. Glowzenski

Charles R. Glowzenski, age 66, of Cream Ridge died Tuesday, June 30 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. Born in Southampton, NY, he had lived in New Egypt and Manahawkin before moving to Cream Ridge about a year ago. Charlie was retired from the Air Force Reserves at McGuire AFB. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1959-1965. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 2340 in Manahawkin and a member of the VFW. Husband of the late Dorothy J. (Gale) Glowzenski, Charlie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Stacey Glowzenski of New Egypt; a daughter, Karen Glowzenski-Gigante of Mystic Island; his mother, Ellen M. Glowzenski of Florence; a brother, Jerry Glowzenski of Punta Gorda, FL; two sisters, Sherri Davidson of Florence and Nancy Scozzari of Tabernacle; four grandchildren, Lindsey and Connor Gigante and Stephanie and Samantha Glowzenski and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, July 6 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt, with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Burial will follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Sunday evening, July 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Monday morning from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Memorial contributions in Charlie?s memory may be made to Memorialization Fund, C/O The Advisory Council, BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
