Warren C. ?Ren? Jones, Jr., age 64, of Cream Ridge passed away Monday, August 10 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Mount Holly, he was previously a resident of North Hanover Twp. before moving to Cream Ridge 4 years ago. Ren was a former member of the Boy Scouts in North Hanover Twp. and the Burlington County 4H Club. He was a graduate of Rancocas Valley High School Class of 1962 and attended the Rutgers ROTC. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving active duty during 1964-1967. Ren worked at Delaval in Trenton for 10 years as an instrument technician and he retired as a Master Sgt. with the 108th after 18 years with the NJ Air National Guard at McGuire AFB working as a radar technician on F4?s and an instrument technician on KC135?s. Ren was a member of the Wrightstown Vol. Fire Co. for 43 years, Past Chief, Secretary of the Relief Association, a member of the Firemans Exempt Association and Life Member. He was a member of the New Egypt Elks Lodge No. 2457 for 25 years and a member of the American Legion Post No. 11 in Mount Holly for 5 years. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by all. Son of the late Warren C. Jones, Sr. and Eleanor (Hillman) Jones, he is survived by his wife of 43 wonderful years, Fran Jones; two daughters, Denise Straub and boyfriend John Griffin of Cherry Hill and Tracey Matusiak and husband Steve of Burlington; a son Chris Jones and wife Shannyn of Florence; grandchildren, McKinley, Samantha, Jesse, Sydney, Colton and Karley, step grandchildren, Dakota and Aubrey; a sister, Diane Mathews and husband Don of Wrightstown; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Judy Kowalski of Titusville; three nephews, Jeff, Tim and Dwayne and two nieces, Jill and Dawn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 14 at 10:00 AM at Chapel #5 (Bldg. 5950) on Church Street at Fort Dix (Please use the Fort Dix Main Gate in Wrightstown). Burial with military honors will follow at the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening, August 13 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Legion services at 7PM and Elk services at 7:30PM. Memorial contributions in Ren?s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street #301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183 or to the American Cancer Society, P. O.
