Kathy L. DePasquale, age 50, of New Egypt died Thursday, August 27 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold after a long battle with cancer. Born in Dobbs Ferry, NY she was a resident of New Jersey for the past 5 years and previously of Cornwall, NY. Kathy was formerly employed in the Print & Copy Center at Staples in Howell. Kathy was a very gentle and kind-hearted person and was a loving and devoted mother, nana, sister and aunt. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Elizabeth Rohrauer. She is survived by her two children, Lori Ann DePasquale of Scranton, PA and Bernard William DePasquale, Jr. of Buffalo, NY; four grandchildren, Donovan, Elija, Talia and Connor; three sisters, Susan Marchese of New Egypt, Diane Kenealy & husband Tom of Florida and Kim Grisanti and husband Frank of Ardsley, NY; a brother, Kenneth Rohrauer & wife Rosemary of Peekskill, NY and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 31 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Calling hours will be on Sunday evening, August 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
