Obituary of Thomas McIntyre

Thomas McIntyre, age 58, of Southampton died Saturday, September 5 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Southampton for the past 16 years and formerly of Mt. Holly and North Hanover Twp. Tom was a Technical Trainer with Modern Group in Bristol, PA and was a Veteran of the US Air Force serving as a Missile Mechanic from 1970 to 1974. Tom was predeceased by his parents, John W. and Helen M. McIntyre and a brother, Charlie McIntyre. He is survived by his wife, Karen (nee Gruenberg) McIntyre; a daughter, Amie Brower of Southampton; a son, Justin Brower and wife Hillary of Muskogee, OK; three grandchildren, Hayley and Hayden Tudor and Hunter Brower; nine siblings, Mary Trzepacz and husband John of Delaware, John McIntyre and wife Cathy of Clark, Phillip McIntyre of Hamilton, Ann Plappert and husband Jack of Pocono, PA, Lorraine Freese and husband Dave of Magnolia, DE, Michael McIntyre of Atco, Lawrence McIntyre and wife Dawn of Jacobstown, Matthew McIntyre and wife Michelle of Levittown, PA and Kenny McIntyre and wife Andrea of Cookstown and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral services will be held of Friday, September 11 at 11:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Burial will follow at the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Tom?s name may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053-3101.
