George Shenesky, age 43, of New Egypt died Thursday, September 10 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. Born in Flemington, he grew up in High Bridge and lived in Rahway and Iselin before moving to New Egypt 3 years ago. George was currently a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 696 in Millburn and had worked as parts manager for several Harley Davidson Motorcycle dealerships. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Colonia and was a devoted and loving husband and father. George was predeceased by his parents, George Shenesky and Lola (Pope) Shenesky, a sister, Joann Bradley and a brother, Frank Shenesky. He is survived by his wife, Gina L. (nee DeSena) Shenesky; a daughter, Sara Shenesky; a son, Kyle Shenesky; a brother, Chris Shenesky of Linden; a sister, Kathy Rimmele and husband Jack of Lenhartsville, PA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George?s memory can be made to his children.
