Ernest R. Willitts,78, of New Egypt, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born in Burlington, N.J., He was a long time resident of Allentown,N.J. before moving to New Egypt five years ago. Ernest was a U.S. AirForce veteran. He was a carpenter for Princeton Nurseries in Allentown for many years before retiring. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Willitts of New Egypt,N.J. Erik and Ann Willitts of Cream Ridge,N.J. and Chris and Julie Willitts of Forked River,N.J.; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Mark II, Christopher, Jr., Eric II, Meagan, Gary and Jamie.; five brothers and 3 sisters, Jerry Willitts of Browns Mills, N.J, Ray Willitts of Florida, Benny Willitts of Indiana, Wesley Willitts of Pemberton,N.J. and Bobby Willitts of Texas, Beatrice Clayton of Browns Mills, N.J., Margaret Blizzard of Wilmington, North Carolina and Ruthann Lind of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12,2009 at 11:30am at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, N.J. 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com). A viewing will be Thursday from 9:30am until the time of service at the funeral home. Internment will be private.
