Mary E. Sharp, age 98, of Pemberton Twp. died Friday, December 25 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. Born in Chester Valley, PA, she has been a resident of Pemberton Twp. for the past year and formerly of Camden, Bordentown and Cookstown. Mary was a member of the Bethel AME Church in Cookstown and was a former Trustee, Secretary, Treasurer, Steward & Stewardess of the church and also was a member of the Hanna Bennett Women?s Missionary Society of the church. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Sharp, Sr., a son, Harvey Sharp, Jr. and a daughter, Bertha Wilson-Bouknight. She is survived by her six children, Josephine Parker of Mount Holly, Helen Robinson of Bordentown, Arnold Sharp of Camden, Elsie Dodson (James) of West Chester, PA, Florence Newkirk of Cookstown and Patricia Lowe (Melvin) of Lakewood; four sisters, Lillian Stevens of Mount Holly, Evelyn Greenwood of Burlington, Nancy Lawrence of Ohio and Peggy Paxton of Burlington and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mary will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 104 ® Elizabeth Street in Bordentown. Calling hours will be on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery in Jacobstown.
