Homer Patrick Williams, age 48, of Raven, VA passed away on Saturday, January 2 at his residence. Born on Ft. Dix, NJ he formerly lived in Bordentown, NJ before moving to Virginia 7 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and formerly worked at Burlington Auto Glass in Burlington, NJ. Son of the late Raymond Charles and Catherine Boyle Williams, he is survived by a daughter, Catherine Williams and a son, Patrick Williams both of Christiansburg, VA; a sister, Joanne Knox of Greenfield, MA; two brothers, Timothy F. Williams of New Egypt and Raymond C. Williams of Bordentown and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and aunts. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 15 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) with burial to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 11AM until noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be sent to a trust fund that will be established for his children.
