Jean Agrillo, age 56, of Jackson died Saturday, April 14 after losing her battle with cancer. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY she resided in NJ since 1985 and Jackson since 1987. She was a loving wife, loving mother and member of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt. Jean was predeceased by her father, Raymond Powderly and she is survived by her husband, Leo Agrillo and their daughter, Laura Jean; her mother, Jean Powderly of Brooklyn, NY; a sister, Debra Lamberti of Dix Hills, NY; a brother, James Powderly of Morganville, NJ; two nephews, Anthony & Raymond Lamberti and a niece, Dana Lamberti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 19 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt, with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery in New Egypt. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and again on Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
