Sophie F. Hartshorn, age 86, of New Hampton, NH, formerly of New Egypt died Friday, September 28 at her residence. Born in Prague, Czech Republic, she had been a long time resident of New Egypt before moving to New Hampshire a short time ago. Wife of the late Walter Hartshorn, Jr., Sophie is survived by family in the Czech Republic and by her good friends, Jim and Cheri Casadona of New Hampton, NH with whom she resided. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 2 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Emley?s Hill Cemetery in Cream Ridge.
