Rudolph G. Wells, age 87, of Whiting died Friday, June 25 at his residence. Born in Sacramento, CA, he was a resident of Trenton before moving to Whiting 7 years ago. Rudy was a retired US Army Captain serving in both the Army and Navy in both WWII and the Korean War from 1943 to 1965. Father of the late Stephen Lenning, he is survived by two daughters, Judy Tusay of Whiting and Christine M. Thomas of Burlington; his former wife, Margaret J. Wells of Pemberton Twp.; four grandchildren, Sherry Fausel of Bordentown, Carl J. Fausel of Pemberton, Barbara Amburgey of New Egypt and Robert Tusay of New Egypt; two great grandchildren, Paige & Dalton Amburgey; friends, Ken Pullen and Beverly Kroplin and many other friends too numerous to mention, all who loved him very much. Funeral services and burial for Rudy will be held on Wednesday, June 30 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown. Calling hours will be on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
